Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.

The disciples evidently found it difficult to begin eating, so Jesus started them out by passing the food. It seems that Jesus dined with them. Though He had a glorified body which undoubtedly did not need food, He showed them that He was able to eat and thus had a real body and wasn’t a ghost. The disciples took this as further evidence of the resurrection (Acts 10:41).

Acts 10:41  He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
