The biggest word in this sentence is “too”. The man is now counting himself among the disciples of Jesus, knowing full well the danger of this move. There is a definite and continuing development to his relationship with Jesus. As his knowledge of Jesus increases, so does his devotion to Him. How could it be any other way?
